• 01Implements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• 02Follows well-established internal conventions and standard procedures
• 03Understands internal standards & processes and applies them to make technical decisions
• 04Collaborates with peers, manager, and project lead to gain understanding of tasks and review solutions
• 05May contribute to code & design reviews
• 06Designs and builds foundational backend systems that enable PayPal's credit products to grow and scale globally
• 07Works on complex, business-critical systems where correctness, performance, security, and regulatory compliance are essential
• 08Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products

Требования

• 011+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• 021+ years of backend development experience
• 03Proficiency in at least one back-end language (Java, Python, Ruby on Rails)
• 04Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs for microservices, focusing on scalability and reliability
• 05Developing enterprise system using Spring Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, and WebSocket or similar frameworks
• 06Strong understanding of web services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards, including REST, OAuth, and JSON
• 07Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• 08Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• 09Strong understanding of database design, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with ORM tools like Hibernate
