- 01Contribute to the development of microservices that support a rapidly growing data platform
- 02Assist in building scalable APIs using modern programming frameworks
- 03Support the development of tools, automation, and instrumentation to improve system reliability
- 04Work on services that enable real-time data processing and analytics
- 05Collaborate with team members to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines
- 06Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
- 07Work on cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with engineers across teams
- 08Learn and apply best practices in software development, system design, and cloud technologies
Требования
- 01Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience
- 02Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, NoSQL and relational databases
- 03Knowledge of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
- 041–3 years of experience (or equivalent internships/projects) in building applications using object-oriented programming (Java or similar technologies)
- 05Basic understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- 06Familiarity with Java and writing clean, maintainable code
- 07Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- 08Exposure to relational databases and/or NoSQL technologies (e.g., Cassandra, Couchbase)
- 09Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- 10Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- 11Good communication and collaboration skills
- 12Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States
