Construction Superintendent - Structural

- 01Oversee and coordinate structural installations including foundations, formwork, rebar placement, concrete pouring and finishing, structural steel erection, embeds, equipment supports, and seismic/wind-resistant systems for xAI Data Centers
- 02Manage and schedule structural contractors, subcontractors, and on-site crews to deliver project milestones on time and to quality standards
- 03Ensure contractors adhere to structural scope and deliver high-integrity foundations and frameworks
- 04Monitor daily progress, maintain detailed logs, red-line drawings, and as-built documentation
- 05Develop and enforce aggressive construction schedules while keeping the project on time and within budget
- 06Champion and enforce xAI’s safety program, building a zero-incident culture
- 07Lead, train, and supervise foremen and structural crews
- 08Proactively resolve on-site challenges such as material delays, technical conflicts, sequencing issues, and coordination with other trades
- 09Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with regulations, codes, safety protocols, and quality standards
- 10Prepare and present progress reports, construction metrics, and risk updates to senior leadership
Требования
- 013+ years managing structural construction teams on large‑scale industrial or mission‑critical projects
- 023+ years hands‑on experience in foundations, concrete forming/rebar, structural steel erection, and heavy support systems
- 03High school diploma or equivalent
- 04Postsecondary diploma or degree in construction management, civil/structural engineering or related field (preferred)
- 05Proven track record supervising structural construction for data centers, hyperscale facilities, semiconductor plants or similar environments
- 06Familiarity with Memphis‑area building codes and structural regulations (IBC, ACI, AISC)
- 07Experience with construction management software such as Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project
- 08Deep knowledge of structural construction critical paths, sequencing, shoring and trade coordination
- 09Strong understanding of data‑center structural specifications, load‑bearing, seismic design and durability
- 10Expert‑level commitment to structural safety and history of building strong safety cultures
- 11Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Project)
- 12Ability to work evenings and weekends as site needs dictate
- 13Physical ability to lift 25+ lbs and work in noisy, heavy‑equipment, excavation and height environments
- 14Passage of pre‑employment drug screening and background checks

- 02Relocation required depending on additional construction locations within the US
- 03Subject to pre‑employment and annual post‑employment background checks and drug/alcohol testing
- 04Work in industrial environment with exposure to noise, heavy equipment, excavations, heights
- 05Availability for evenings and weekends as operational needs dictate
