- 01Conduct full-time empirical research for 4 months on AI's economic and policy impacts
- 02Develop and execute research projects aligned with Anthropic's priorities, aiming for public outputs such as paper submissions
- 03Collaborate with assigned mentors to select research topics and refine methodologies
- 04Analyze AI's effects on labor markets, future of work, and societal resilience
- 05Investigate offense–defense balance for AI-enabled cyber and bio capabilities
- 06Measure model performance changes with custom harnesses and identify early-warning metrics
- 07Communicate findings through writing, presentations, and engagement with the AI safety community
Требования
- 01Fluency in Python programming
- 02Availability to work full-time on the Fellows program
- 03Strong technical background in computer science, mathematics, or physics
- 04Motivation to ensure AI is safe and beneficial for society
- 05Interest in transitioning into empirical AI research
- 06Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- 07Skill in implementing ideas quickly and communicating clearly
- 08Background in a relevant discipline (e.g., economics, social sciences, cybersecurity) or related research/engineering experience
- 09Interest in economics or policy research (prior experience a plus but not required)
- 10Adaptability and collaborative mindset
- 11Proficiency in writing up and communicating research results
