Senior Backend Product Software Engineer, Payments

Обязанности
- 01Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional partners (Billing, Financial Data Engineering, etc.) to deliver reliable payments functionality
- 02Design, build, test, and maintain backend services and APIs powering financial transactions
- 03Work with metrics and logging systems to ensure visibility and observability of the payment infrastructure
- 04Acts as a technical lead across projects and teams
- 05Sets long-term technical direction and ensures engineering excellence
- 06Drives cross-team collaboration and mentors engineers
- 07Develops intuitive product instincts and uses data to shape technical and product strategy
- 08On-call work may be necessary occasionally to help address bugs, outages, or other operational issues, with the goal of maintaining a stable and high-quality experience for our customers
Требования
- 019+ years of experience in software engineering or related industry roles
- 02Professional experience in backend engineering, preferably with large-scale systems
- 03Proficiency in any backend programming language (we’re using Python in Payments, but being language agnostic we know the language is mainly the tool)
- 04Solid understanding of distributed systems, transactions, and service reliability
- 05Strong communication skills, particularly when working across time zones
