Обязанности

01Design and implement features and performance improvements in the Fivetran core to create highly scalable distributed data pipelines on the cloud
02Care and feel ownership of our product platform, and leverage your skills towards improving it
03Advocate for core values, business impact, better engineering, and simple and direct solutions
04Lead engineering-wide initiatives for a number of key technologies
05Collaborate across engineering on cross-functional projects creating innovative solutions
06Work across the project lifecycle: requirements, design, prototype, implementation, review, release, monitoring
07Review and approve technical design documents and pull requests
08Improve and enhance engineering systems documentation and development processes
09Coach and mentor other software engineers
10Contribute to hiring by participating in the interview process

01Typically, 5+ years of software development experience in fast paced environments
02Demonstrated passion to learn how large-scale software engineering projects work
03Lead and mentor junior team members
04Has developed an ability to write, test, and deploy well-structured and performant code
05Experience developing data-processing systems, preferably for an external-facing product
06Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal) in English
07Proficient level programming in an object oriented / systems language such as Java, Python, C# etc.
08Experienced with end-to-end systems profiling, performance, and optimization
09Experience troubleshooting problems with existing code and systems
10Experienced working in a cloud environment architecture utilizing AWS, GCP, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies
