Обязанности
- 01Build and lead a high-caliber India-based SRE organization supporting Okta's production fleet
- 02Partner with global engineering, product, and infrastructure leaders to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure services
- 03Define and execute the India SRE strategy in alignment with global reliability goals
- 04Lead post-incident reviews, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure long-term corrective actions
- 05Participate in incident management, on-call rotations, and blameless RCAs
- 06Implement automation and observability to reduce manual toil and improve operational efficiency
- 07Drive adoption of modern infrastructure practices: infrastructure as code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and AI within Infrastructure org
- 08Hire, mentor, and develop top SRE talent across India; build a strong engineering culture centered on reliability and innovation
- 09Foster collaboration across time zones with U.S. and EMEA teams
- 10Promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and process improvement
- 11Maintain a deep knowledge of industry best practices, evolving trends, and technologies
- 12Manage service and business expectations and prioritize resource allocation
- 13Accelerate the velocity of SRE and product engineering by developing robust platforms, powerful tooling, and intuitive self-service capabilities
- 14Improve SDLC processes for Cloud infrastructure as a code, including the maturity of CI/CD pipelines, change and release management
Требования
- 0116+ years of experience in site reliability, infrastructure, or production engineering roles
- 028+ years of experience in technical leadership & people management including managing managers
- 03Strong expertise in automation, observability, performance optimization, and incident response
- 04Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills—particularly in a global matrixed setup
- 05Experience building or scaling offshore SRE teams that partner with global counterparts
- 064+ years of experience running the SRE org supporting a SaaS/Cloud service in a public Cloud, preferably AWS
- 07Experience supporting a multi-Cloud environment will be a plus
- 08Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, containerization (Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines
- 09Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale programs
- 10Effective verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- 11Computer Science Degree or related degree or equivalent experience
