• 01Design, build, and operate production AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool and API integrations, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation harnesses
• 02Architect and maintain marketing databases, datasets, pipelines, and Samsara's Customer Data Platform (CDP)
• 03Partner with the BI team to expand conversational analytics across the marketing organization
• 04Identify and automate manual workflows with AI, from concept to prototype to production
• 05Stand up new data pipelines end to end, including schema discovery, vendor collaboration, data processing, and downstream integration
• 06Own the reliability and data quality of built systems
• 07Autonomously partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into technical requirements and scalable solutions
• 08Ship high-quality Python and SQL, directing agentic coding tools and verifying AI-generated work
• 09Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and help define team best practices

Требования

• 015+ years of experience in a data engineering or AI engineering role
• 02Expert Python and SQL knowledge with strong hands-on data modeling experience
• 03Experience building and shipping production systems that use LLMs or agents
• 04Agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) are part of your regular workflow
• 05Deep experience with data warehouse architectures, ETL/ELT, and the modern data stack (e.g., Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• 06Ability to lead requirements gathering independently and bridge business needs with technical implementation
• 07Self-starter who performs well independently and as a team member
• 08Strong communication and project management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
