Обязанности
- 01Manage end-to-end indirect tax compliance, including filings, registrations, and remittances for global VAT/GST, and US sales and use tax
- 02Streamline tax workflows, leverage tax automation tools and AI, and enhance data governance to improve efficiency
- 03Develop and implement indirect tax strategies aligned with Cohere’s business growth, product offerings (e.g., SaaS, AI services, Sovereign AI), and international expansion
- 04Manage responses to tax audits and inquiries from authorities
- 05Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring alignment with global tax regulations and internal policies
- 06Address digital services taxes and electronic services implications
- 07Partner with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to assess tax impacts of new initiatives, contracts, and market entries
Требования
- 013–5 years of indirect tax experience, with experience in multinational environments
- 02Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or experience in Indirect Tax
- 03Deep knowledge of U.S. and / or Canadian indirect tax laws, and familiarity with principles of global indirect tax regimes
- 04Prior experience in technology/SaaS
- 05Experience with tax automation software (e.g., Vertex, Avalara) preferred
- 06Strong analytical ability to interpret tax regulations, model scenarios, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- 07Demonstrated success in managing projects in fast-paced, global settings
