01Own the end-to-end design vision and execution for complex, high-impact product initiatives across Growth, Spending, or Lending
02Shape product strategy alongside Product, Engineering, Research, and Data partners, helping define what we build—not just how it looks
03Transform ambiguous opportunities into elegant, intuitive experiences that simplify financial decision-making for millions of members
04Design polished, production-ready user experiences across mobile and web with exceptional attention to visual craft, interaction design, accessibility, and usability
05Use customer research, experimentation, analytics, and sound design judgment to make informed decisions and continuously improve member outcomes
06Contribute to the evolution of Chime's design system while establishing new patterns that scale across products
07Raise the quality bar for design through thoughtful critique, collaboration, mentorship, and a relentless commitment to craft

01A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual craft, polished interaction design, and end-to-end product thinking across shipped consumer products
02Extensive experience designing and shipping consumer-facing digital products for mobile and web, with ownership of complex product areas from strategy through execution
03A track record of influencing product direction through close partnership with cross-functional leaders across Product, Engineering, Research, and Data
04Deep expertise with Figma and modern prototyping tools, with a strong understanding of design systems and scalable interaction patterns
05Experience using customer research, experimentation, and product metrics to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions
06Strong systems thinking with the ability to balance member needs, business objectives, and technical constraints in complex environments
07Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and influence decisions across a wide range of stakeholders

01The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $174,000 and up to $245,000
