- 01Set the multi-quarter vision for Sumo Logic's investigation and reliability experiences
- 02Turn vision into a roadmap engineering can execute against
- 03Own the roadmap, health, and competitiveness of the current data and reliability product surfaces
- 04Define how search, metrics, tracing, dashboards, monitors, alerts, and SLOs evolve into more intuitive, AI-assisted experiences
- 05Productize investigation workflows that reason across telemetry and related operational context
- 06Surface findings customers can act on
- 07Own alerting accuracy, noise reduction, and operational health signals
- 08Shape how skills, tools, and agents are built on top of the data surfaces
- 09Ensure enterprise controls such as RBAC, audit, cost limits, and approvals are respected
- 10Work with engineering and architecture on query execution, performance, and reliability at enterprise scale
- 11Translate strategy into clear PRDs, proposals, user stories, acceptance criteria, and phased rollout plans
- 12Use telemetry to understand how customers search, investigate, and configure alerts
- 13Identify where customers hit friction, latency, false positives, or cost
- 14Create leadership-facing proposals that frame tradeoffs across customer demand, governance, performance, cost, and long-term architecture
Требования
- 018+ years of product management experience with real observability or monitoring domain background
- 02Owned products in observability, monitoring, incident response, APM, or closely adjacent operational-telemetry space
- 03Deep, first-hand understanding of observability surface area including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, monitors, alerts, and SLOs
- 04Understanding of how engineers and operators investigate incidents and decide what to trust
- 05Proven ability to run a live, at-scale product
- 06Track record of owning broad, technically deep surfaces and setting direction that other teams build on
- 07Familiarity with how AI and agents are changing data interaction
- 08Strong technical instincts around query engines, time-series and trace data, and alerting systems
- 09Judgment to know where AI-assisted experience should replace manual flow and where depth must stay
- 10Strong analytical skills and comfort using telemetry, dashboards, SQL, and usage data
- 11Excellent communication across technical and business audiences
- 12Ability to write clear proposals, decision docs, PRDs, and acceptance criteria
- 13High ownership and drive to make progress across large, ambiguous, fast-moving surface
