• 01Build and evolve Groove, a fullstack platform that supports planning, collaboration, and execution across Spotify
• 02Design and deliver features including initiative tracking, planning workflows, and dependency management
• 03Work across the stack using React, TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to build end-to-end solutions
• 04Partner closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and create intuitive, effective experiences
• 05Ensure reliability through testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production
• 06Participate in an on-call rotation and help respond to production incidents when needed
• 07Improve the performance, scalability, and maintainability of frontend and backend systems
• 08Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining ownership of quality, correctness, and outcomes
• 09Lead the design and delivery of complex, high-impact features across the stack
• 10Own problems end-to-end, from shaping ambiguous requirements through to production-ready solutions
• 11Help define and evolve architecture across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• 12Mentor engineers and contribute to raising the technical bar across the team

Требования

• 01You have 5+ years of experience building scalable fullstack applications in production environments
• 02You are comfortable working across frontend and backend technologies and understand how they fit together to create reliable products
• 03You have experience with APIs, distributed systems, and modern web application architecture
• 04You take ownership of the software you build, from implementation through production health and ongoing improvements
• 05You have experience designing systems and influencing technical direction
• 06You communicate clearly and effectively through documentation and collaboration in distributed teams
• 07You write clean, maintainable code that enables others to build with confidence
• 08You use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully and validate outputs with sound engineering judgment
• 09You navigate ambiguity with confidence and make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
• 10You enjoy mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and helping teammates grow
• 11You are curious, proactive, and motivated by continuous learning and experimentation
