01Independently design, develop, and deploy scalable features using UI Framework on the frontend and Java/Python on the backend
02Implement AI-enhanced workflows, including the development of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to expose New Relic's telemetry data to LLMs and AI agents
03Take responsibility for the reliability and performance of services processing massive data volumes, ensuring they are multi-threaded and highly concurrent
04Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
05Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to internal technical documentation
06Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to turn wireframes and requirements into polished, production-ready software
07Identify bottlenecks in the stack—from slow UI renders to inefficient backend queries—and implement high-performance solutions

015+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, preferably in a SaaS or product-based environment
02Proficiency with React (preferred) or Angular/UI framework, with a solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and modern web standards
03Strong proficiency in Java or Python
04Solid grasp of OOP principles, RESTful APIs, and multi-threaded programming
05Experience in designing, building, and consuming secure, performant RESTful APIs or GraphQL
06Experience working with distributed systems and relational or NoSQL databases
07Understanding how to write queries that perform at scale
08Experience or a strong interest in AI/ML integration, specifically working with LLM APIs and building/maintaining MCP servers
09Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the entire technical stack
