Senior Software Engineer - Security Libraries

Обязанности
- 01Design, build, and own security integrations and detections (WAF, RASP/exploit prevention, API Security, IAST, SCA) across multiple libraries
- 02Take projects from prototype to deployed, correct, operable, and maintainable, writing code that safely instruments thousands of applications in production
- 03Own systems operationally: monitor production telemetry, debug challenging cross-system issues, and drive down customer-facing problems
- 04Shape the roadmap: help define OKRs, break features into components, and drive designs and RFCs across security library teams
- 05Partner with product management, backend, and frontend teams to turn product ideas into capabilities customers adopt
- 06Mentor teammates and raise the bar on code quality and testing
- 07Represent Datadog in relevant language and security communities
Требования
- 01Expert in at least one of .NET (C#) or Java
- 02Polyglot who can contribute idiomatically across other libraries when needed
- 03Write clean, correct, well-tested, performant, idiomatic code
- 04Strong software-engineering fundamentals: ship modular, maintainable code with little guidance
- 05Product-engineering mindset: care about user experience and product outcomes
- 06Experience building and shipping libraries or SDKs consumed by other developers
- 07Understanding of packaging, versioning, and backward compatibility
- 08Care about performance and cost in both time and space
- 09Operationally mature: take full accountability for what you ship in production
- 10Communicate clearly in writing and in person
- 11BS/MS/PhD in a STEM field or equivalent experience
