Обязанности
- 01Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems, and ensure team support throughout delivery
- 02Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design, and analytics; participate in ideation, articulate technical constraints, and partner on decisions considering risks and trade-offs
- 03Proactively identify project, process, technology, or business issues, advocate for them, and lead in solving them
- 04Support operations and availability of team artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and supporting "keep the lights on" and on-call efforts
- 05Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards, and advocating beyond the team through writing and tech talks
- 06Help develop talent on the team by providing feedback and guidance, and leading by example
Требования
- 014+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin
- 02Track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- 03Experience defining a technical plan for delivery of a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple, and extensible design; writes high-quality code that is easily understood and used by others
- 04Proficient at making significant changes in a large code base and has developed a suite of tools and practices to enable safe changes for the team
- 05Demonstrates ownership of growth by proactively seeking feedback from team, manager, and stakeholders
- 06Strong verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration with the global engineering team
- 07Either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field

- 01Base pay range: CAD $153,000 - $213,000 per year
- 02Equity grade: 6
