Staff Developer Advocate - Asia Pacific & Japan Lead

Обязанности

  • 01Act as a subject matter expert for the Datadog advocacy and engineering teams
  • 02Drive approach and execution of overall first party technical event content programs in the region, such as Datadog Summits and engineering meetups, to tell authentic, compelling educational and inspirational stories for technical audiences
  • 03Define and drive regional advocacy programs for technical audiences, ensuring Datadog remains relevant to technical practitioners
  • 04Represent Datadog’s point-of-view in the field to technical audiences at events and conferences
  • 05Manage, mentor, and grow a team of regional Developer Advocates based across APJ to execute localized community and advocacy strategies
  • 06Partner with and coach internal product managers and engineers on effective public communication and presentations for their work
  • 07Represent Datadog point-of-view for solutions, engineering culture and industry trends that technical users should consider
  • 08Partner with event organizers to ensure success when involving Datadog and customers, and curate compelling content for attendees
  • 09Create content in various mediums to build Datadog's reputation as a leader in DevOps, Observability, Software Development and Security (e.g., demos, public speaking, blogging, documentation, webinars, open source, research reports)
  • 10Contribute to product through feedback (bugs or product enhancement suggestions)

Требования

  • 01Approximately 5+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or other practitioner
  • 02Approximately 5+ years of experience in a senior technical developer relations capacity responsible for collaborating with peers to set technical direction and influence product outcomes to serve user needs
  • 03Approximately 3+ years of experience in storytelling and creating compelling content (e.g., written content, conference talks, leading workshops, live streaming or recording videos, contributing to open source, participating in community events)
  • 04Have publicly available writing samples, blog posts, demos, or recordings of presentations on technical topics
  • 05Have coached and enabled others to speak publicly and deliver compelling talks about their subject matter expertise in a way that resonates with audiences, especially technical peers
  • 06Experience working on technical conferences or events, either as a collaborator with organizers or as an organizer
  • 07Enjoy self-driven exploration and education on new technologies and languages
  • 08Experience working with regional teams to localize technical content and stories for audiences
  • 09Multilingual, particularly in languages prominent in the ASEAN region (e.g., Indonesian/Bahasa, Malay, Thai, Mandarin)
