• 05Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and hold a high bar in code reviews
• 06Partner across engineering, product, and design to align on direction
• 07Proactively engage in incident response and long-term reliability improvements
• 08Grow the team's technical culture through design reviews, tech talks, and mentorship

• 015+ years of software engineering experience
• 02Track record of designing and shipping production systems at scale
• 03Strong system design instincts for distributed systems
• 04Curiosity and informed opinions about how AI can improve product experiences
• 05Hands-on experience with large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems in a cloud environment
• 06Proficiency in object-oriented programming
• 07Solid foundations in relational and NoSQL databases
• 08Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions
• 09BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• 01Expected base pay range in the San Francisco area is $148,000 - $185,000
• 02Hybrid schedule: work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
