Обязанности
- 01Partner with customers to design scalable data architectures using Databricks technology and services.
- 02Drive complex technology discussions that express the value of the Databricks platform throughout the sales lifecycle.
- 03Partner with Account Executives to engage customers' technical leads (architects, engineers, operations) and establish trusted advisor relationships.
- 04Collaborate with Databricks teams and executive leadership to represent customer needs and build valuable customer engagements, reporting to the Field Engineering Manager.
- 05Work with Sales and partners to develop account strategies for assigned accounts to grow platform usage.
- 06Establish the Databricks Lakehouse architecture as the standard data architecture for customers through technical account planning.
- 07Build and present reference architectures and demo applications to help prospects understand how Databricks achieves their goals and acquire new users and use cases.
- 08Consult on big data architectures, data engineering pipelines, and data science/ML projects; prove Databricks technology for strategic projects; validate integrations with cloud services and third‑party applications.
- 09Become an expert in and promote Databricks‑inspired open‑source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Koalas) via meetups, conferences, and webinars.
Требования
- 014+ years in a customer‑facing pre‑sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
- 02Expertise in at least one of: big data engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), data warehousing & ETL (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS), data science & machine learning (pandas, scikit‑learn, HPO), or data applications (logs analysis, threat detection, real‑time monitoring, risk analysis, etc.).
- 03Experience translating customer business needs into technology solutions and securing buy‑in from stakeholders at all levels.
- 04Skilled at designing, architecting, and presenting data systems for customers and managing delivery of production solutions.
- 05Fluent in SQL and database technology.
- 06Debug and development experience in at least one language: Python, Scala, Java, or R.
- 07(Desired) Experience building solutions with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- 08(Desired) Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research).
