Technical Accounting Manager, New Product

Обязанности
- 01Own technical accounting research and conclusions for new products, strategic transactions, and other novel or judgmental fact patterns
- 02Research relevant US GAAP and SEC guidance, and draft clear, well-supported position papers and memos
- 03Partner early with Product and Deal teams to understand proposed structures, identify accounting implications upfront, and help shape deal and product terms before they're finalized
- 04Evaluate emerging areas (e.g., crypto/digital assets, new revenue arrangements, and other frontier products) where authoritative guidance is still developing
- 05Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, Finance, Financial Reporting, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accounting conclusions are integrated consistently across financial statements, disclosures, and controls
- 06Advise on accounting areas such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 350-60 digital assets, ASC 810 consolidation and VIE evaluation, and ASC 815 Derivatives
Требования
- 015-8 years of progressive experience in a technical accounting role
- 02Public accounting experience; Big 4 or national firm experience preferred
- 03Prior experience designing, implementing, and documenting technical accounting policies and procedures
- 04Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ability to research accounting literature, establish a position and develop procedures for implementation
- 05Ability to interpret complex technical guidance and effectively present accounting positions both in written and verbal form
- 06Experience at a crypto company is a plus

- 09Base Pay Range: Zone 1 $149,000 — $175,000 USD
- 10Base Pay Range: Zone 2 $131,000 — $154,000 USD
- 11Base Pay Range: Zone 3 $116,000 — $137,000 USD
