Responsibilities

  • 01Shape & improve the iOS experience that millions of players open every day
  • 02Lead architecture and implementation on a large, evolving Swift/Objective-C codebase, making decisions that hold up across years of product growth
  • 03Push the platform forward by adopting the latest iOS, hardware, and iOS capabilities
  • 04Partner deeply with product, design, and data science to materialize ideas
  • 05Raise the engineering bar through code review, technical mentorship, and the standards you set in your own work
  • 06Set technical direction across multiple workstreams, drive multi-quarter initiatives that span teams, and act as a force multiplier for the broader iOS platform

Requirements

  • 015+ years of track record of leading the design and delivery of mobile features at scale
  • 02BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 03Deep, hands-on expertise in Swift and Objective-C, with a real point of view on modern iOS architecture (Swift Concurrency, SwiftUI/UIKit interop, modularization)
  • 04Experience working in very large codebases with many contributors — you know how to ship safely, instrument well, and keep build times sane
  • 05Strong product sense. You can tell the difference between an interaction that's correct and one that feels right, and you fight for the latter
  • 06Excellent judgment under ambiguity, and a bias toward shipping over speculating
