Responsibilities

  • 01Lead the end-to-end design of experiential programs, from early concepts and storytelling through detailed design, production, and launch
  • 02Translate Stripe’s brand and product strategy into compelling physical, digital, and hybrid experiences for global audiences
  • 03Create scalable visual identities, design systems, and toolkits for events and environments that extend Stripe’s evolving brand
  • 04Partner closely with producers, marketers, product teams, and senior stakeholders to define goals, make tradeoffs, and deliver work on time and at a high bar
  • 05Art direct agencies, fabricators, contractors, and other external partners; provide clear feedback and uphold quality through execution
  • 06Design keynote and presentation systems that make complex ideas feel clear, cohesive, and engaging
  • 07Help evolve the Experiential Design discipline by sharing craft knowledge, improving team practices, and mentoring other designers

Requirements

  • 016+ years of experiential, environmental, brand, or integrated design experience, ideally for technology or product-led companies
  • 02Bachelor’s degree in art, design, or a related field
  • 03A portfolio demonstrating concept-to-production work across events, environments, installations, keynotes, or other immersive brand experiences
  • 04Experience leading large-scale conferences, trade shows, executive or customer events, or comparable IRL and hybrid experiences
  • 05Strong visual design, art direction, and storytelling skills across physical and digital media
  • 06Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex work while influencing designers, agencies, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • 07Sound judgment in incorporating stakeholder feedback while protecting the core creative idea and quality bar
  • 08Familiarity with motion design systems and how to apply them consistently across contexts
  • 09Deep understanding of design principles: layout, grid systems, typography, color, iconography, and photo art direction
  • 10Exposure to designing for live event environments: LED walls, stage visuals, real-time rendering, and large-format displays
  • 11Proficiency with design collaboration tools, including Figma and Keynote, and a systems-thinking approach to extending design systems across shared patterns
  • 12Working knowledge of emerging AI tools and how they fit into a professional creative production workflow
  • 13Strong track record delivering high quality work independently, and in close collaboration with cross-functional partners
  • 14Find a meaningful balance between optimizing for speed, quality, and doing challenging, interesting, frame-perfect work
  • 15Are persuasive and humble in explaining your work, process, and decisions and crave feedback
  • 16Love working with other designers to help them learn and grow—and have them help you learn and grow
  • 17Have excellent organization and presentation skills, and excel in written and verbal communication
  • 18Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel or inch
  • 19Are passionate about Stripe's mission, are dedicated to a user-first mindset, and have experience working with data and insights
