Responsibilities
- 01Shape the technical and product vision for Notion’s import systems
- 02Clarify the near-term roadmap and de-risk the most important technical decisions for importers, exports, and internal admin tooling
- 03Connect AI-era and agentic workflow patterns to onboarding and import experiences
- 04Establish engineering excellence as a team norm: reliable systems, clear operational standards, and a shared understanding of critical workflows
- 05Maintain a steady operating rhythm with HQ while owning a clear north star for the Content Onboarding surface area
Requirements
- 01Strong technical leadership: you can represent the team’s work, hold a high engineering bar, and de-risk decisions through clear processes, delegation, and senior IC partnership
- 02Ability to craft and maintain multi-quarter team strategy, especially where outcomes depend on adjacent product and engineering teams
- 03Experience developing senior engineers, strengthening operating rhythms, and building high-performing engineering teams with durable standards
- 04Distributed-team leadership: you can set direction for a local team while staying tightly coordinated with cross-functional partners across time zones
