Responsibilities
- 01Identify and counter sophisticated threat actors who are highly motivated to evade detection
- 02Conduct first-principles investigations into the threat surfaces outlined above
- 03Design and execute large-scale enforcement operations that remove hundreds of thousands to millions of adversary-controlled accounts
- 04Clearly and concisely communicate investigative findings and enforcement outcomes
- 05Partner closely with operations, engineering, product, and policy teams across the organization
- 06Rapidly and rigorously handle urgent incidents escalated by leadership
Requirements
- 01Self-starter mindset with a proven ability to take initiative and drive work forward independently
- 02Deep commitment to analytical rigor and operational excellence
- 03Exceptional attention to detail
- 04Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 05Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- 06Maturity and discretion when handling sensitive information, with the ability to remain calm and effective during urgent incidents
- 07Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large, complex datasets
- 08Comfort operating in the command line, writing scripts, and leveraging AI tools to amplify impact and scale work
- 09Flexibility to work across time zones, including weekends and holidays, as part of an on-call rotation
- 10Strong respect for users’ freedom of speech and privacy
- 11To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
