Responsibilities

01Design and develop mobile frameworks and features for Smartsheet's native applications on both Android and iOS platforms
02Guide and mentor team members regarding architecture and best practices for mobile development
03Provide technical expertise, solving complex problems and offering thoughtful feedback on peer design and code reviews
04Contribute to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)—defining, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying new features
05Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify solutions and next steps for production issues
06Work autonomously, overseeing essential features and collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, UI designers, senior developers, and testers
07Recognize and take ownership of complex technical cross-team issues, driving them to resolution
08Support development across multiple platforms (Android, iOS, Native NDK, etc.)
09Perform other duties as assigned

017+ years of mobile engineering experience, specializing in native mobile development
02Experience in developing consumer mobile applications, with a strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem and a customer-focused attitude
03Expertise in Kotlin, Swift, Java, RxJava, JUnit, Objective-C
04Experience developing clean architecture and integrating RESTful APIs and web services
05Ability to shift between low-level algorithms and high-level strategies
06Experience working in agile environments with frequent production releases
07Legally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis
08Fluency in English is required
