Responsibilities
- 01Direct the strategy and implementation for Roblox's suite of subscription offerings
- 02Manage team execution and delivery of engineering roadmap
- 03Drive operational excellence and maintain 24/7 health of payment systems
- 04Lead technical design and code review for security, performance, and scalability
- 05Ensure cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Design, Risk, Legal/Compliance teams
- 06Define architectural strategy and technical vision for subscription services
- 07Grow and cultivate an impactful engineering team through hiring and mentoring
Requirements
- 018+ years of hands-on experience in software development with scalable distributed systems
- 022+ years of experience managing and mentoring high-performing engineering teams
- 03Demonstrated ability to define and drive technical vision for mission-critical services
- 04Strong track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining engineering talent
- 05Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- 06Familiarity with billing products and payments processing
