Responsibilities
- 01Lead engineers define, build, and drive the multi-quarter technical strategy for user-facing features across our product
- 02Collaborate closely with Design, Product, and AI teams to identify and execute on high-impact initiatives
- 03Help define and evolve the architecture for a fast-moving, AI-powered application
- 04Hire, grow, and retain exceptional engineers who thrive in a high-trust, high-impact environment
- 05Foster a culture of simplicity, quality, and continuous improvement
- 06Contribute to code and architecture reviews, unblock teams, and lead by example when needed
- 07Work closely with cross-functional partners to align product initiatives with company goals
Requirements
- 013+ years of experience in a software engineering management role leading product engineering teams, preferably in high-growth environments
- 0212+ years of software engineering experience as a backend engineer
- 03A track record of leading high-performing, engaged engineering teams
- 04Strong product sense and an instinct for balancing speed, quality, and user impact
- 05Experience with backend systems (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and modern cloud-native infrastructure
- 06Ability to anticipate scaling bottlenecks before they occur and take decisive, proactive measures
- 07Experience building RAG pipelines and managing the data lifecycle
