Responsibilities

01Own the frontend quality, consistency, and visual craft of the Stripe Dashboard's highest-traffic pages
02Identify and execute opportunities to improve consistency, performance, and polish across the Dashboard
03Partner closely with Design and Product, serving as the technical voice on frontend feasibility, quality standards, and implementation approach
04Contribute to and advocate for the Stripe design system, ensuring components and patterns work well across the Dashboard
05Establish frontend quality standards for the team, including patterns, code review practices, and implementation guidance for junior engineers
06Prototype and explore AI-powered experiences that change how merchants discover and interact with Stripe products
07Collaborate with backend engineers on integration points while keeping frontend craft as core focus

0110+ years of experience building and shipping complex, user-facing web applications at large scale
02Deep expertise in modern frontend development with strong opinions on UI quality
03Ability to execute to a high level of visual precision
04Track record of driving measurable improvements to UI consistency and polish across large, distributed products
05Experience working closely with Design teams and translating design intent into high-quality production implementation
06Demonstrated ability to work across a large codebase and bring coherence to high-traffic product surfaces
