Responsibilities
- 01Define UX strategy and experience architecture across multiple Presence initiatives
- 02Shape foundational experiences across identity, profiles, community representation, Reddit Pro, and emerging product areas
- 03Turn ambiguous opportunities into clear product direction, scalable frameworks, and compelling experiences
- 04Use AI-assisted design and coding tools to create functional prototypes that make ideas tangible and accelerate decisions
- 05Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and senior leaders to influence product direction
- 06Bring teams together around shared principles, trade-offs, and a longer-term vision
- 07Raise the bar for interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and reusable design patterns
- 08Mentor designers and help evolve how the team approaches systems thinking, craft, and AI-native design
Requirements
- 018 to 10+ years of product design experience, including complex, cross-functional work in consumer technology
- 02Strong systems thinking and experience designing platform-level or reusable product experiences
- 03Exceptional interaction design, information architecture, and product strategy skills
- 04Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution
- 05A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams without direct authority
- 06Strong storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills
- 07Experience using AI-assisted design or coding tools to explore, prototype, and communicate ideas
- 08A portfolio demonstrating Staff-level thinking, strong craft, and meaningful product or organizational impact
