Responsibilities
- 01Timely and accurate execution of monthly revenue accounting close activities and deliverables (i.e. journal entries, deal review, and reporting)
- 02Collaborate cross functionally with business partners, including Sales and Legal, during contract negotiations and provide accounting guidance in order to ensure proper revenue recognition
- 03Review revenue contracts in detail, identifying and documenting any non-standard terms to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and ASC 606
- 04Author, update, and maintain revenue recognition policies and accounting memos to support Figma contract structures
- 05Develop scalable revenue accounting processes and drive automation initiatives in partnership with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Engineering
- 06Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, UAT, and ad hoc analyses as business needs evolve
Requirements
- 014+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting
- 02Experience working in a high-growth SaaS technology environment
- 03Strong, up-to-date knowledge of ASC 606, including reviewing and interpreting contracts
- 04Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- 05Advanced proficiency in Excel
