Responsibilities
- 01Guide customers in building big data solutions on Databricks
- 02Work with and support Field Engineering pre-sales teams
- 03Help customers through design and successful implementation of essential workloads
- 04Align customer technical roadmap to expand use of Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
- 05Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers on big data projects
- 06Assist Solution Architects with advanced aspects of technical sales
- 07Architect production-level cloud native governed workloads
- 08Lead workshops, hackathons, and conference presentations to enable adoption
Requirements
- 01Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external customers
- 024+ years of experience designing Cloud infrastructure/Security and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 03Experience applying best practices in cloud security and networking
- 04Experience architecting, designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud networks and connectivity
- 05Experience with Identity & Access Management
- 06Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
- 07Experience supporting customers in designing and implementing a security lakehouse/security data platform on Databricks
- 08Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, vibe coding and agentic tools
- 09Foundational knowledge of large-scale processing/analytical engines for data pipeline architecture design
