Responsibilities
- 01Identifying, designing and implementing technical solutions to enable team, track and business to achieve its short term goals
- 02Project and interrupt - oncall, team support requests - based work across all aspects on Site Reliability Engineering
- 03Collaborate with peers within the SRE track and across other engineers in the organisation
- 04Help ensure we consistently meet and exceed our Business Service Level Agreements and team SLOs
- 05Work closely with teams to bring about better practice and continually improve and evolve our systems to enable our teams to build and run great products
Requirements
- 01You have successfully worked in an SRE or DevOps environment where collaboration with other teams is as important as within your own team
- 02You possess a blend of experience in Platform and Cloud Engineering (Virtual and Physical hardware, ideally, blended [I|P|S]aaS) and Site Reliability
- 03You understand how to build systems and processes that are reliable and scalable
- 04Focus on Customer Experience: You have a product mindset and recognise the customer experience is paramount
- 05Pragmatism - making a trade off between the ideal solution and something that we can implement and then iterate on
- 06Tenacity - bringing about change can be hard and needs long term commitment
- 07Resilience - there’s a wide range of opinions, we need to bring people on a journey
- 08Relentless energy - There’s lots to do and there’s always more we want to achieve
