Responsibilities
- 01Manage a growing, business-critical team of designers distributed across EMEA and APAC
- 02Expand the team to meet business demands and employee development needs
- 03Partner closely with Product Management leaders to identify, shape, and prioritize current and new product initiatives
- 04Work across Stripe teams and establish collaboration practices that result in holistic solutions for a horizontal product space
- 05Work closely with Product Management, Product Engineering, Marketing, and senior leadership to drive fast decision making, create clarity, and raise the bar for craft and impact
- 06Inspire, motivate, and lead designers across experience levels to do the best work of their careers
Requirements
- 015+ years of people management experience
- 028+ years of relevant design experience at a tech or product-driven company
- 03Excel at motivating and inspiring people to do their best work
- 04Experience recruiting and building product design teams
- 05Relentlessly user-focused
- 06Experience designing for complex platforms and enterprise software
- 07Excel at both written and spoken communication
- 08Do your best work collaboratively
- 09Find a meaningful balance between speed, quality, and risky but interesting work
