Responsibilities
- 01Run discovery to decide what learning content to build by talking to customers and analyzing product usage and support data
- 02Define audiences, personas, prerequisites, and success measures before design begins
- 03Design courses, certifications, learning paths, and live sessions based on instructional design principles
- 04Produce design artefacts like learning objectives, outlines, storyboards, and assessment strategies
- 05Make deliberate modality choices (video, in-LMS, live workshop) and justify them
- 06Hand off designs to Knowledge & Enablement Specialists and act as the design authority during development
- 07Get hands-on in development by building, scripting, editing, and publishing content
- 08Design and refine AI-powered, multi-step workflows for the content production pipeline
- 09Facilitate live customer sessions, workshops, and webinars
- 10Speak at major North American conferences on instructional design and AI
- 11Use engagement, completion, and assessment data to measure learning effectiveness and iterate on content
Requirements
- 01Senior instructional designer with depth in needs analysis and design
- 02Portfolio demonstrating expertise
- 03Thinks in systems and pipelines, not just individual assets
- 04Strong peer collaborator who gives and receives critique effectively
- 05Credible voice for speaking at conferences
- 06Experience designing and refining multi-step, agentic AI workflows
- 07Ability to judge where AI belongs in a pipeline and defend human-in-the-loop processes
