Responsibilities

  • 01Partner with AEs to own technical discovery, demos, POCs, and expansion with technical validation
  • 02Build trusted relationships across engineering, scientific computing, R&D, and commercial IT
  • 03Go deep in research-heavy and regulated environments: developer workflows, AI tooling, complex setups
  • 04Help customers connect Cursor to outcomes that matter: faster R&D cycles and a shorter path from lab to market
  • 05Deliver technical presentations, whiteboards, and workshops for scientific and commercial audiences
  • 06Act as the customer's technical advocate internally with Product and Engineering
  • 07Partner with post-sales to hand off cleanly and set up onboarding for success
  • 08Stay sharp on Cursor and the competitive landscape so you can go toe to toe in the room

Requirements

  • 01You have strong communication skills and executive presence, equally comfortable coding alongside developers or presenting to CTOs and scientific leaders
  • 02You understand the SDLC and can connect technical detail to business and scientific impact
  • 03You have hands-on technical fluency (not full-time eng): workflows, AI tooling, complex environments
  • 04You have deal-partner instinct: co-own with AEs and navigate complex stakeholder maps
  • 05You're customer-obsessed and can translate technical detail into why it matters for the organization
  • 06You have experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting
  • 07You're excited by Life Sciences and comfortable learning regulated / research-heavy orgs fast
  • 08You're motivated by putting AI in the hands of people accelerating benefits for humanity
