Responsibilities

  • 01Create clear, compelling, and empathetic experiences that help users understand how safety’s policies, processes, and systems are applied across the platform
  • 02Design for diverse audiences—young users, teens, adults, brands, and developers—ensuring critical safety journeys are accessible, age-appropriate, and effective
  • 03Collaborate with the Foundation Design Systems team to develop scalable, reusable patterns across safety features
  • 04Use data, research, and experimentation to develop a deep understanding of user behavior—especially in moments of confusion, conflict, or rule-breaking—to inform design decisions and improve reform outcomes
  • 05Partner cross-functionally with policy, product, and engineering teams to ensure quality, strategic alignment, and best-in-class user experience
  • 06Help define the UX strategy and roadmap for flagship safety experiences that guide users toward safe, civil behavior on Roblox

Requirements

  • 01A Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Design, or equivalent work experience
  • 02Proven experience (8+ years) in UX/UI design, with a strong track record of delivering impactful systems-level thinking and launching innovative consumer experiences
  • 03Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills and user-centered design thinking
  • 04Direct trust & safety experience is a plus but not required
  • 05Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand and design for complex workflows and interactions
  • 06Ability to balance business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints in design solutions
  • 07Strong communication and collaboration skills

What we offer

  • 01Annual Salary Range $214,710 — $255,720 USD
  • 02Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday
  • 03All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits
