Responsibilities
- 01Define the product vision and strategy for GitLab's end-to-end software factory experience
- 02Bring together planning, specification, coding, review, and verification workflows into a cohesive product experience
- 03Partner with product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams across GitLab to align priorities and execution
- 04Identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities across GitLab Duo Agent Platform and related areas of the GitLab product
- 05Use strong product and design judgment to make complex workflows clear and useful for customers
- 06Build support for product decisions through clear communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration
- 07Present product direction, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior and executive leaders
- 08Help shape how GitLab brings its software factory vision to market
Requirements
- 01Product management experience at principal scope, leading complex products or experiences across multiple teams
- 02A strong understanding of the end-to-end software development workflow, from planning through verification
- 03Experience with artificial intelligence products, developer tools, DevSecOps platforms, or related technical products
- 04Technical judgment that supports effective collaboration with engineering teams and informed product decisions
- 05Strong product design and user experience instincts, including the ability to connect separate capabilities into a coherent experience
- 06Experience influencing across functions, resolving competing priorities, and moving work forward without relying on direct authority
- 07Clear communication and presentation skills, including experience working with senior and executive leaders
- 08An ownership mindset and the ability to make progress in a fast-changing product area with some ambiguity
