Responsibilities
- 01Own major product experiences from initial concept through design, implementation, launch, measurement, and continued improvement
- 02Invent and build intuitive interfaces for generating, editing, arranging, and collaborating on AI-created presentations, data applications, and visual artifacts
- 03Deliver exceptional frontend experiences across interaction design, typography, layout, motion, accessibility, performance, and error recovery
- 04Partner directly with users, Product, Design, and AI engineers to understand real workflows, test ideas, and turn feedback into better products
- 05Create reusable editing, visualization, and collaboration primitives that accelerate future products across Replit
Requirements
- 014+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong record of shipping high-quality, user-facing products
- 02Understanding of the full agentic software development stack, helping coding agents build, test and review correct code
- 03Deep experience with TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS, along with strong knowledge of browser performance, application state, responsive design, and accessibility
- 04Strong product judgment and visual taste, with the ability to balance usability, speed, correctness, polish, and long-term maintainability
- 05Comfort working across the full stack, including Node.js, APIs, Postgres, data models, and production debugging
- 06Familiarity with agentic software development and how coding agents build, test, review, and operate software
