Responsibilities

01Own the experience of our iOS and Android mobile apps, including guiding the adaptation of desktop features to mobile
02Pair closely with mobile engineers and product leads to initiate and complete mobile-specific projects, no hand-offs
03Take opportunities to redesign or refine key screens and flows, as well as smaller quality issues and paper cuts as you use Linear
04Create mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate ideas and describe their execution
05Guide and inspire fellow designers through collaborative critique of work-in-progress across both mobile and desktop platforms
06Use and improve our lightweight design system components
07Help with hiring new teammates that can elevate our team and product

015+ years experience designing software, with mobile-specific emphasis
02Courage to ask questions, experiment, and advocate for what you feel is right
03Humility to accept feedback, adapt your thinking, and iterate toward the best solution
04Experience with prototyping directly in code, or with tools like Figma, Origami, etc
05Ability to distill problems and feedback, then design clear, focused solutions
06Effective written and verbal communication skills — much of our work is async
