Responsibilities
- 01Build and maintain detection and incident response capabilities
- 02Triage security alerts and conduct investigations
- 03Lead incident response efforts
- 04Develop, tune, and maintain security detection rules and alerts
- 05Onboard data, parse, create rules, and dashboard in SIEM infrastructure
- 06Monitor security across various platforms including macOS endpoints, Google Workspace, Okta, and SaaS applications
- 07Monitor cloud security in Google Cloud (GCP)
- 08Automate detection and response tasks using scripting
- 09Translate attack techniques and threat intelligence into actionable detections
Requirements
- 01Proven experience in incident response and security operations
- 02Strong background in detection engineering
- 03Hands-on experience with SIEM Infrastructure, specifically Google SecOps (Chronicle)
- 04Proficiency in security monitoring across JAMF MDM for macOS endpoints, Google Workspace, Okta and SaaS applications
- 05Experience with cloud security monitoring in Google Cloud (GCP) and familiarity with GCP Security Command Center (SCC)
- 06Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash for automation, data parsing, and security tooling integration
- 07Deep understanding of common attack techniques and threat intelligence
- 08Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
- 09Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- 10Ability to operate in GMT+10 timezones
- 11Based in APAC region, preferably Singapore, Australia or Philippines
