Responsibilities
- 01Design, implement and own data-intensive, high-performance, scalable platform components
- 02Work with engineering teams, architects and cross functional partners on the development of projects, design, and implementation
- 03Conduct and participate in design reviews, code reviews, analysis, and performance tuning
- 04Coach and mentor engineers to help scale up the engineering organization
- 05Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- 06Participate in the on-call rotation, and incident management
Requirements
- 015+ years of industry experience
- 022+ years of experience in object-oriented language, preferably Java
- 03Excellent grasp of software engineering principles
- 04Solid understanding of multithreading, garbage collection and memory management
- 05Experience with reliability engineering specifically in areas such as data quality, data observability and incident management
What we offer
- 01Annual base salary range for candidates located in Canada: $160,000 — $220,000 CAD
