Responsibilities
- 01Own the full product lifecycle for internal applications, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution through implementation, rollout, measurement, and ongoing improvement
- 02Build useful, clear internal user experiences with React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies, backed by well-designed Python services and APIs
- 03Design integrations with Oracle Fusion, Zip, and other enterprise systems, including order management, fulfillment, and supply chain APIs
- 04Build durable workflows and agentic systems using Temporal or similar workflow technologies
- 05Apply AI models, tool use, and agents to business workflows where they create real value
- 06Work directly with Finance and Supply Chain partners to understand their workflows, identify high-value problems, and turn ambiguous requirements into products
- 07Own production quality through testing, monitoring, incident response, security reviews, and thoughtful operational support
- 08Identify patterns across products and contribute reusable application, integration, and workflow building blocks
Requirements
- 015+ years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships, with a track record of shipping production software
- 02Experience building products or internal tools from idea to production, including making tradeoffs with incomplete or changing requirements
- 03Strong Python experience and comfort building backend services and APIs
- 04Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern web development, or a strong willingness to work across the stack
- 05Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL and sound data modeling judgment
- 06Experience designing integrations, distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, or order, fulfillment, and supply chain APIs that must handle failures and retries safely
- 07Care deeply about product quality, reliability, security, performance, and the experience of the people who use the software
- 08Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, application owners, data engineers, and business partners
