Responsibilities
- 01Own external comms for product announcements and updates across the Agent Stack and Core Platform
- 02Oversee communications for Vercel's open source frameworks with concentration on Next.js
- 03Build thought leadership narratives around how Vercel's products fit together
- 04Develop owned content, social content, and campaigns engaging commercial and developer audiences
- 05Stay close to the pulse of the open source community and proactively look for opportunities to support it
- 06Partner with DX Engineering's community team on programming and conference participation
- 07Build public thought leadership profiles of Vercel's product and engineering leadership
Requirements
- 016-8 years of experience in communications, PR, or product marketing
- 02Direct exposure to developer tools, infrastructure, or technical products
- 03Strong writer and storyteller who can translate technical work into narratives
- 04Comfortable working directly with engineers, PMs, and technical leadership
- 05Experience managing multi-channel, cross-functional programs
- 06Familiarity with the frontend/JavaScript ecosystem (Next.js, frameworks, runtimes, and adjacent tooling)
- 07Self-directed and comfortable owning a program end-to-end in a fast-moving environment
