Responsibilities
- 01Design and implement new static analysis checks, rules, and inter-procedural analysis algorithms
- 02Extend Qodana’s capabilities in critical areas like license compliance, security, and vulnerability detection
- 03Optimize how code analysis runs, configure execution paths, and orchestrate performance based on project context
- 04Build and refine CI/CD integrations to make Qodana easy to adopt across different development workflows
- 05Collaborate with compiler and IDE teams across JetBrains to share insights and align analysis engines
- 06Take ownership of features from early concept to release, gathering feedback and iterating to make them better
Requirements
- 01Deep, practical knowledge of JVM development (such as Kotlin or Java)
- 02Experience designing and implementing complex algorithms or handling performance-critical backend architectures
- 03Fluent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members globally
- 04A deep curiosity about code structure, compilers, and how static analysis works
- 05A proactive mindset, not waiting for permission to fix a broken process or improve a system
- 06Strong collaboration skills and a readiness to support your technical ideas with clear, logical reasoning
- 07Comfort working in a distributed team across different countries and time zones
