Responsibilities

01Build and evolve ad experiences that allow millions of listeners to enjoy Spotify for free
02Collaborate with engineers across Android, iOS, backend, and web, along with product, design, and data partners to ship impactful features
03Write clean, maintainable code that scales across teams and products
04Contribute to the technical direction, architecture, and best practices for Android development within Advertising
05Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience across ad surfaces
06Help shape reusable components and libraries that support fast, consistent development
07Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and autonomous team environment

01You know how to write clear, idiomatic Kotlin or Java and build maintainable Android applications
02You are experienced with modern Android frameworks and development tools
03You have a strong understanding of Android architecture patterns and API design
04You care about code quality, performance, and delivering polished user experiences
05You understand how mobile applications connect with backend systems end-to-end
06You have shipped at least one app to the Google Play Store or have a project you can walk us through
07You value collaboration and contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment
08You have 2+ years of experience building Android applications
