Responsibilities
- 01Develop and refine workflows that are critical to Snowflake’s business
- 02Design metrics and experiments to validate your insights
- 03Help to implement projects that span our stack, including Typescript services hosted in Snowflake and Kubernetes
- 04Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including product management and design
- 05Deliver features requiring close coordination with several partner teams
- 06Be a participant in defining the product vision and team planning
- 07Pinpoint problems, instrument relevant components as needed, and ultimately implement solutions
Requirements
- 01B.S. or M.S. degree in CS, or equivalent discipline
- 022+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- 032+ years maintaining a production system
- 04Interest in the State of the Art LLM-based solutions
- 05Experience with modern application design architecture, good API design patterns, performance and scale
- 06Experience in technologies such as Typescript, React, Node, Express.
- 07Experience with software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, design documentation
- 08Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in a cloud environment
- 09Great communication skills, both verbal and written and an interest in working with a diverse set of peers and external developers
- 10Genuine enjoyment of the art of building great products
