Responsibilities
- 01Own the technical relationship with our customers
- 02Develop a deep understanding of our product capabilities, integrations, configurations messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape
- 03Listen carefully to prospects and clients to provide market feedback to the product team and help prioritize functionality needed to drive sales opportunities
- 04Support customers thought their trial process with Vanta
- 05Build product examples, documentation, and other critical resources for our customers
- 06Cultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement
- 07Creatively identify and help drive new programs to improve the pre to post-sales transition
Requirements
- 01Have 4+ years of customer-facing, technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer or equivalent title
- 02Have previous B2B SaaS experience
- 03Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure & Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and cloud application architecture
- 04Have strong project management skills with a proven ability to operate in a startup environment that lacks structure of a larger organization
- 05Be creative, technical, and naturally persuasive
- 06Be detail-oriented and organized
- 07Love listening to customers, discussing strategy with colleagues, but also diving into the weeds
- 08Have general knowledge with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, and JavaScript) and a desire to expand those skills
- 09Be familiar with REST API development and service integrations is a plus
- 10Ideally have prior experience in the cybersecurity space
- 11Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
