Responsibilities
- 01Architect for scale: Define the token architecture, component structure, and theming model
- 02Own governance, not just files: Establish the standards, documentation, and contribution model
- 03Partner deeply with engineering: Work hand-in-hand with frontend engineers to ensure faithful implementation
- 04Elevate craft everywhere: Bring meticulous visual and interaction craft to every component and pattern
- 05Drive adoption: Build artifacts, documentation, and relationships to encourage system usage
Requirements
- 01Indefatigable visual designer with exceptional eye for typography, color, layout, and detail
- 02Genuinely capable product designer with 6+ years of experience and solid UX judgment
- 03Experienced building and governing design systems at scale
- 04Original and able to produce distinct design work
- 05Principled and able to defend design decisions
- 06Decisive in ambiguity and able to make defensible choices
- 07Technically fluent and comfortable working close to code
- 08Built for startup pace and able to operate with minimal specs and shifting priorities
